15th Wedding & Event Video Expo Set for Early August 2005

Sarasota, FL - The WEVA 15th Annual Wedding & Event Video Expo will be held in early August 2005 on a Monday-Thursday pattern as in past years (officially opening Monday night/ending Thursday afternoon by 5 pm). The exact dates and location will be officially announced shortly, said WEVA Director of Association Communications Dan Argenas.
"Being the 15th year of the EXPO, means WEVA EXPO 2005 will be a hallmark event for our association and the professional wedding and event video industry at large!" said Argenas. "Wedding and event videography has come such a long way since our first convention and trade show back in 1991 – and the impact of the EXPO has been huge for videographers, manufacturers, and industry associates throughout the years."
WEVA EXPO 2005, he related, will reflect this enormous impact with state-of-the-art conference sessions, hands-on exhibits, and special activities and demonstrations; and also with special retrospective (documentary) video (that’s already underway) tracing the EXPO’s 15-year history – and the pioneers (including WEVA Wedding & Event Videography Hall of Fame inductees and WEVA Special Award recipients) who have propelled our industry forward!
Argenas said members interested in speaking on select topics at WEVA EXPO 2005 are encouraged to enter their name and topic on the WEVA EXPO 2005 Proposal form which will open shortly on the WEVA International website at www.weva.com.
