Los Angeles, CA - WeddingChannel.com, the online wedding resource announced the launch of their bridal high-tech services that will take wedding planning wireless. The services range from wedding planning tips via text messages on cellular phones to wedding planning content and tools for use on engaged couples PDA's and smartphones.
The WeddingChannel.com Bridal Text tips program offers couples the latest beauty, fashion and health tips related to wedding planning via mobile phones. The complimentary tips are sent weekly for 12 weeks and available through most providers.

Through its partnership with Novii Lifestyles, a developer of software for handheld and desktop computers, WeddingChannel.com offers WeddingChannel On-the-Go software. The software, specially created for WeddingChannel.com, provides brides with access to planning advice, photo galleries, a budget planner, checklist, guest list, calendar of appointments and local vendors from their handheld device.

According to the company, WeddingChannel On-the-Go features include:

-- Contacts and schedule trackers to manage guest lists and tracked gifts received;
-- "My Scrapbook Capture" feature that comes preloaded with pictures from WeddingChannel.com's top vendors, and the capability to save selections;
-- "My Profile" application that will count down to the wedding and provides a list of WeddingChannel.com's preferred vendors; and
-- "A Wedding Guide" containing tips and suggestions from the experts at WeddingChannel.com.
WeddingChannel On-the-Go software is compatible with Palm OS 4 and 5 handhelds, with a color screen. Consumers can purchase the software alone or purchase it along with a compatible Palm PDA.
