Sarasota, FL - With great pleasure, WEVA International announces that WEVA EXPO 2003, The 13th Annual International Convention and Trade Show for Professional Wedding & Event Videographers will be held August 25-28, 2003 at Bally's/Paris Las Vegas. Following up on the success of this year's convention, WEVA EXPO 2003 will soar to even greater heights as WEVA presents the hottest innovations in shooting, editing, producing, marketing, and selling professional wedding and event videography.
"Videographers will see exciting new industry developments at WEVA EXPO 2003 that will increase their skills, and improve their business in what has become a very competitive marketplace. New EXPO programming and the huge Trade Show will reflect the constant change now occurring in our profession," said WEVA International chairman, Roy Chapman. "The annual WEVA Creative Excellence Awards Presentation, always an EXPO highlight, will be the closing event of WEVA EXPO 2003." It will be held late afternoon on Thursday, August 28, 2003.
In returning to Bally's/Paris, the heart of Las Vegas, WEVA International is pleased to announce that guest room rates for WEVA EXPO 2003 have only increased by one dollar. Rates at spectacular 4-star Bally's will be just $80/night (single or double occupancy, kids 18 & under stay free), and WEVA will again offer a Room-Share Program, designed to make WEVA EXPO 2003 affordable for all to attend. Videographers will also have the option of staying at Paris at slightly higher rates. Getting to Las Vegas from virtually anywhere remains very affordable. In addition, air routes to Las Vegas do not carry the Saturday night stay-over requirement (additional fees) common to other locations.
Bally's/Paris has already opened room reservations for WEVA EXPO 2003 on their toll free number 1-800-7BALLYS or by direct dial to 702-739-4111. Online registration will open on the WEVA website at www.weva.com in the spring of 2003.
